Ariane Mariane

Born in 1972 in Germany, Ariane Mariane  SROKA studied architecture in Paris at “Paris-Mallaquais” from 1997 to 2003. During her studies and until 2008 she worked as a graphical textile designer for French and Austrian design agencies. Since 2005 she is specialized in feltmaking and free motion stitching and has her own studio in Achères, in the suburbs of Paris.

 

Ariane Mariane creates unique pieces of every day art, exploring the limits between art, fashion and home decor  in a colorful and humorous way.

 

Her work has been exposed in France, United Kingdom and Germany on art and craft fairs as well as in galleries.

 

As co-founder of French felt association Feutre Art Textile she organized several felt shows in France.   

 

Ariane Mariane is proud member of porfessional French art féderation  “Atelier d’art de France” and international textile and fiber art groupe “TAFA”
